NEW EMPLOYEE BENEFIT AVAILABLE JULY 1, 2026
Our insurance pool, IPBC, recently partnered with CancerNavigator to offer a unique, no-cost, support service to all members, retirees, and eligible dependents on one of our BCBS IL health plans beginning July 1, 2026. This service pairs cancer patients with oncology certified nurses to help them make informed decisions throughout their journey.
CancerNavigator helps patients to prepare for upcoming doctor visits - with questions tailored to specific situations - as well as schedule appointments or second opinions, access financial support and transportation assistance, or find resources for emotional, mental health, or nutrition support. Whether they are just beginning their journey, are in active treatment, finished with treatment, or in survivorship, CancerNavigator is here to help.
Eligible employees will receive a postcard in the mail the week of June 29th with more details and contact information. A program flyer can be found in the Resources section below.
