Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois (BCBSIL) 

All BCBSIL plans will have hearing aid benefits to the following minimum coverage: 

Under age 18: Unlimited dollar amount coverage every 36 months per ear with general payment levels - deductible, coinsurance, copay applying per the current plan design(s) 

Over age 18: $2500 maximum every 24 months per ear with general payment levels - deductible, coinsurance, copay applying per the current plan design(s) 

The current BCBSIL HMOIL plans already have these benefits; the update will be to all PPO plans with BCBSIL. Your certificate booklets will be updated by BCBSIL to reflect these updated benefit levels.
