If you see a crime in progress or if this is an emergency, please call 911!To help make the Village of Hoffman Estates a safer place, the Hoffman Estates Police Department now offers several ways to notify us anonymously about illegal activity:
- Call 9-1-1. You can still remain anonymous when calling 9-1-1.
- Submit an anonymous police tip online here.
- Place a tip via call or text at: 224-254-0049.
- Email Police Tips
The Police Tip Line should be used to notify the police of illegal activity in our community, such as:
- Community Vandalism
- Drug Activity
- Fugitive
- Suspicious Incident
Please have the following information ready to report:
- Location
- When this activity occurred
- Victim details
- Suspect Information
- Vehicle Information
- Contact Information (if desired)
Always remember...reporting false or malicious information to the police is a crime.
