The Hoffman Estates Police Department offers fingerprinting services free of charge, by appointment only, to Hoffman Estates residents or for people who work in the Village of Hoffman Estates.   Inked, hard-card fingerprinting is available for the following purposes:

• Adoptions
• Job Applications
• Identification
• Immigration

Items you will need to bring with you:

• Valid State issued Driver's License or ID card
• Blank fingerprint card - don't fill out or sign the card before you come.
• Persons under the age of 18 needs to be accompanied by an adult parent or guardian.

Fingerprinting appointments are to be scheduled with our Community Service Officers.  Please provide your full name, reason for fingerprinting, and a preferred date and time.  While we will try to accommodate your preferred time, please keep in mind scheduling will be done based on the availability of our Community Service Officers.
