1994 First Place – Championship Class – IACP Chief's Challenge Awarded first place in a tie with Tulsa, Oklahoma (800 officers) for the best traffic safety program in the nation, judged against all first place winners from all categories from 1993.
1995 First Place – Championship Class – IACP Chief's Challenge Awarded first place for the best traffic safety program in the nation, judged against all first place winners from all categories from 1994.
1996 Clay Hall Memorial Award – IACP Chief's Challenge Awarded for best traffic safety program in the nation regardless of size.
1996 First Place – Drive Safe Illinois Award Best traffic safety program in the State.
1997 First Place – IACP Chief's Challenge Awarded for best traffic safety program in the nation for agencies with 50 - 100 officers.
