Register for a CPR/AED course

The Hoffman Estates Fire Department offers Heartsaver CPR/AED courses each month from January through October. Courses are held at Hoffman Estates Fire Station #24, 5775 Beacon Pointe Dr.

The course is intended for those with little to no medical training who want to learn CPR and AED use. Participants will learn when to phone 9-1-1, how to administer CPR, how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED), and how to provide relief from choking. The cost of the course is $50 per person.

Healthcare Provider (BLS) classes are also offered by appointment. Healthcare Provider is required CPR certification for doctors, nurses or paramedics. Certification is good for two years through the American Heart Association (AHA).

All courses are taught by American Heart Association (AHA) certified instructors. Instructors facilitate the classes using instructional videos, AHA course-specific instructional printed materials, and hands-on instruction.

Pre-registration is required; class sizes are limited. Visit the CPR course page for more information and to register.
