Engaging Local Government Leaders (ELGL) awarded one of the Hoffman Estates City Hall Selfie Day entries as winner in the funniest category for 2025. A list of all the winning entries is available on the ELGL website.

ELGL created City Hall Selfie Day in 2015 to celebrate local government in a fun & creative way. The concept is simple – take a selfie in front of your favorite local government building and post it on social media with the #CityHallSelfie hashtag.
