Resident of our Village can rest assured that our firefighters not only know how to handle emergencies, but also know how to have fun! That was evident this summer at Camp I Am Me when HEFD was on hand to help with the logistics of putting together a fun camp experience for kids who have suffered burns. Not only did your firefighters put in some legwork to make the camp run, but they also had the chance to have fun with the kids.

Camp I Am Me provides free programs throughout the year to both children, adults and families that have been affected by burn-related injuries, providing them the much needed physical, psychological, and emotional support they deserve.
