Guests of all ages are invited to join Hoffman Estates Public Works to learn about the skills, tools and equipment used to maintain infrastructure in the community during their Annual Open House on Saturday, Nov. 8 from 10 am to 1 pm at the Public Works Center, 2305 Pembroke Ave.

This free event includes snow plow rides, live demonstrations, interactive displays and a touch-a-truck with vehicles and equipment like dump trucks, loaders, excavators, aerial lifts and more. Light refreshments, giveaways, and raffle items will be offered while supplies last.

 

In partnership with SCARCE, Public Works is also a participating location for the Pumpkin Smash during the Annual Open House on Nov. 8. Bring pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns along to the Open House for composting...don't trash it, smash it! Please remove candles and other decorations for the Pumpkin Smash event.
