Hoffman Estates Public Works is again pleased to offer the community a first-person view into the inner operations of Public Works. Participants of the Citizen’s Public Works Academy will have the opportunity to learn about infrastructure maintenance, service provision, and equipment used to accomplish the many varied tasks and operations the department oversees. 

This year’s Citizen’s Public Works Academy will meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the Susan H. Kenley-Rupnow Public Works Center, 2305 Pembroke Ave., July 15 through Aug. 26. A dinner will be provided on the final night of the program, and a special academy graduation ceremony will be held at Village Hall in the fall.
