Northwest Fourth-Fest runs July 1-5

Northwest Fourth-Fest, the region’s largest free-admission Fourth of July Celebration, returns to Hoffman Estates this summer! Hosted by the Village of Hoffman Estates and the Hoffman Estates Park District, Northwest Fourth-Fest kicks off at the NOW Arena, 5333 Prairie Stone Parkway, with the carnival Wednesday, July 1 through Sunday, July 5.

Festival Hours:

  • Wednesday, July 1 - 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. 🎡 carnival only
  • Thursday, July 2 - 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. 🎡 carnival only
  • Friday, July 3 - Noon to 11 p.m. 🎡 🎶 full festival + fireworks
  • Saturday, July 4 - 4th of July Parade on Illinois Blvd., 9 a.m.
  • Saturday, July 4 - Noon to 11 p.m. 🎡 🎶 🎆 full festival + drone light show
  • Sunday, July 5 - Noon to 5 p.m. 🎡 carnival only

The full festival will take place on Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4 with a jam-packed lineup of events and activities for everyone to enjoy! In addition to the carnival, the fest features the very popular free Kids' Zone, presented by T Mobile Fiber, with a petting zoo, face painting, a roaming entertainer, inflatable slides, musical shows, and more. Everything in the Kids' Zone is free, and there will be plenty of family-friendly fun for all ages.  

Friday, July 3: Live Music & Fireworks
Entertainment on the Festival Stage, presented by Wintrust, includes live music Friday night from Hello Weekend starting at 5:30 p.m. and 7th heaven starting at 8:30 p.m., with a break at 9:30 p.m. for the region’s largest fireworks show presented by Groot. With plenty of space on the festival grounds, there's not a bad seat in the house to enjoy the show! 

Saturday, July 4: Live Music & Drone Light Show
Saturday night entertainment includes live music from David's House at 5:30 p.m. and Rod Tuffcurls and the Bench Press at 8:30 p.m. with a break at 9:30 p.m. for a state-of-the-art drone light show. The best vantage point to view the drone light show, powered by Elgin Kia - Weck Auto Group, is at the Virginia Mary Hayter Village Green.
