With warmer weather comes the opportunity to begin home improvement projects. As you prepare for the season, please remember to follow the Village’s permit requirements and property maintenance standards.

Parking on Grass & Inoperable Vehicles
All parking and driveway areas must be paved with asphalt, concrete, or approved paver brick and kept in good repair. Parking on grass or gravel is not permitted. Additionally, inoperable or unlicensed vehicles may not be parked, kept, or stored on any premises.

Tall Grass & Weeds
Grass and weeds must be maintained at a height of 8 inches or less. All exterior property areas should be kept clean, safe, and sanitary.

Trash, Recycling, TVs & Electronics
Garbage and yard waste containers must be stored behind the principal house line or inside the garage. Containers may be placed out no earlier than 6 p.m. the evening before pickup and must be removed within 12 hours after collection.

Please note that TVs, electronic devices and appliances cannot be placed at the curb. Contact Groot to schedule proper removal of electronics or appliances.
