2026 Teen Fire Academy Application Form

Join the Hoffman Estates Fire Department Teen Fire Academy and step into the action. This hands-on experience lets you train like a real firefighter, build confidence, become a stronger team member, and learn life-saving skills that go far beyond the classroom.

Whether you’re curious about a future in the fire service or just looking for a challenge, this is your chance to test yourself, make new friends, and see what you’re truly capable of.

Program Highlights

• Hands-on firefighting activities
• Use the Jaws of Life
• Search and rescue victims
• Ride in the fire engine and go up in the basket of the ladder truck.
• Live demonstrations & simulations
• CPR & basic first aid training
• Team building challenges
• Learn about fire safety & emergency response

Who Can Attend?

Teens ages 14–19 who live in or attend school in the Hoffman Estates area

• Days: Wednesday Nights
• Time: 6 - 8:30 p.m.
• Location: Hoffman Estates Fire Station 24
