Students entering 5th grade through those exiting 6th grade are eligible to participate in the Hoffman Estates Junior Police Academy this summer. The academy will be held daily from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Police Station Monday, June 22 through Friday, June 26.

Topics covered in the academy include:

• Evidence Collection
• Mock Traffic stops
• Internet Safety
• Bicycle Safety Course
• Specialty Units within the Department
