The Village will replace mailboxes damaged during winter maintenance operations, whether the damage results from direct contact with snow removal equipment or from the force of snow and ice displaced during plowing, provided that the mailbox was originally installed in accordance with Village regulations.

If a mailbox is damaged, a temporary repair will be made to ensure uninterrupted mail delivery. To report mailbox damage, please call the Public Works Department 847-490-6800 or email publicworks@vohe.org.
