The Sister Cities Commission of Hoffman Estates is seeking host families for three cultural exchanges this year, as they prepare to welcome guests from our Sister City, Angoulême, France.

The exchanges are scheduled for:

• March 25 through April 1 when two comic artists visit to attend and participate in the C2E2 comic expo in Chicago;
• April 4 through 13 when five culinary students and two instructors visit and participate in the Chamber of Commerce’s Bon Appétit restaurant event; and
• June 23 through 30, with two runners participating in the Stars & Stripes Half Marathon at Bell Works Chicagoland in Hoffman Estates.

Please help continue this tradition of friendship and sharing of cultures by considering becoming a host family.  Host families are not required to speak French, and do not need to be available each day, as the Commission will accompany exchange guests to outings.
