Sustainability Planning

The Village Board approved the Hoffman Estates Sustainability Plan in December 2019. The Plan was created with assistance from a grant-funded Metropolitan Mayors Caucus/AmeriCorps program.

The purpose of the Sustainability Plan is to create efficiencies, save money, and to identify ways that the Village can remain focused on long-term success measures. It describes the successful "green" projects the Village has already undertaken and outlines possible programs and projects that will improve the long-term viability of Village operations and municipal services.
