Pet Licenses

Should your pet(s) become lost, the Village wants to reunite them with your family. We cannot do this without a registered pet tag.

According to Village's Municipal Code, you are required to obtain a pet license each year for each pet. Pet tags expire every Oct. 31. Pet tags are on sale at the Village Hall and must be purchased by Oct. 31 of each year in order to comply with the ordinance. Late fines of $1.50 per month are assessed after Nov. 30.

In order to assist you with this task, click here for a pet license application (PDF). A complete pet license application includes the form above, a paid fee of $5 per pet ($2 for senior citizens), and a copy of the statement from your veterinarian that your pet(s) are currently inoculated against rabies. After receipt of all application materials, your new pet tags will be mailed to you. Pet licenses can be obtained by mail or by purchase in person during regular business hours at the Village Hall (1900 Hassell Road.)
