Amber Meadows is located at the north east corner of Shoe Factory Road & Essex Road. The subdivision received final approval by the Village Board on May 2017. Amber Meadows would consist of 108 single family lots and all the outlets associated with the subdivision. The lots would be a minimum size of 7,651 square feet and an average lot size of approximately 8,985 square feet. The base price of a home would be in the high $300,000s.
Bergman Pointe is located at the northwest corner of Algonquin Road (IL-62) and Ela Road. The subdivision received final approval in July 2015 and construction is underway. The homebuilder, M/I Homes, will be constructing 81 single-family houses. The house models range between 2,197 and 4,315 square feet and a base price of $579,990 to $660,990 (house sale prices may vary based on market conditions). A wetland green space will be located at the center of the neighborhood. The historic Bergman farmhouse at the south end of the 37-acre site is under review for its potential to be preserved for a future use.
Devonshire Woods, located at the southwest corner of Shoe Factory Road and Essex Drive, was approved in 2007. Several homes have been constructed in the northern section of the subdivision, which includes available home sites. The southern section of the subdivision was recently re-subdivided by CalAtlantic Homes, which owns most of the remaining lots in the entire subdivision. Altogether 38 lots are available in a semi-wooded setting with a pond.
