ERP Transition FAQ
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software is the Village’s software tool for managing financial operations, tracking permits and licenses, managing utility bills and more.
BS&A from BS&A Software, a company specializing in municipal software solutions. This transition is the culmination of a multi-year project to find a replacement to the Village’s current ERP, Central Square, that has been in use since 1998.
The Village’s new ERP went live on January 26, 2026.
- Paying by check (via mail or drop box) – There will be no impact for anyone paying by check.
- Paying via credit card online – A new payment portal is available on Village's website.
- Automatic bill pay – All automatic bill pay customers need to enroll in the new automatic bill pay system.
- The Village’s current online permit submittal portal, eTRAKiT, will be inaccessible beginning January 16, 2026, at 12 p.m.
- Limited permitting functions will be available between January 16, 2026, and January 30, 2026, due to the system transition.
- For emergency repair permits during this time, submit repair detail to buildingpermits@vohe.org to be processed manually.
- For any other permit questions during this time, submit inquiries to buildingpermits@vohe.org or call (847)781-2631.
- Applicants will be provided with instructions for accessing the BS&A Online portal once the system is live.
- Issued rental licenses, originally set to expire on December 31, 2025, have been extended to March 31, 2026.
- Notices with instructions on how to renew and pay for 2026 licenses will be sent out in February 2026.
- Rental Licenses run on an April 1 – March 31 term.
- Issued business licenses will all expire on April 30, 2026.
- Notices with instructions on how to renew and pay for 2026 license will be sent out in March 2026.
- Business Licenses run on a May 1 – April 30 term.
