NOTE: Due to excessive heat warnings for Thursday, July 18, misting tents will be available for patrons attending the Summer Sounds concert.

Howard and the White Boys will bring their eclectic blues sounds to the Hoffman Estates Village Green on Thursday, July 18, at 7 p.m. The show is part of the “Summer Sounds on the Green” concert series, sponsored by the Hoffman Estates Arts Commission and the Hoffman Estates Park District.

Howard and the White Boys have performed with some of the biggest names in blues, including Buddy Guy, B.B. King, Koko Taylor, Otis Rush, Albert King, Junior Wells, Lonnie Brooks, Luther Allison, Bo Diddley and Chuck Berry. Now for one night only, they are bringing their mix of blues, R&B and rock to the Village Green, so don’t miss this chance to see one of Chicago’s best live contemporary blues acts.

The Virginia Mary Hayter Village Green is located at 5510 Prairie Stone Parkway, across the street from the Sears Centre Arena in the Poplar Creek at 59/90 “Entertainment District.”

Admission is free. Bring a blanket or a lawn chair to the amphitheater. Picnics are welcome!

The Hideaway Beer Garden will be offering a wide variety of food, craft beers and cocktails for purchase by Summer Sounds patrons. Weather permitting, the Hideaway will be open until 10 p.m. on Thursdays. The Craft Canteen will also be available on the hill overlooking the amphitheater.
