Computer animation class for kids on July 22

The Village's Youth Commission is offering two free "Project Alice" computer animation classes – a beginner session and an advanced session – for children ages 7 to 13. Both classes take place on Saturday, July 22, at the Village Hall.

The beginner class starts at 9 a.m., and the advanced class starts at 11 a.m. Registration is required, as space is limited to 10 students per class. To reserve a spot, email and indicate the skill level you are interested in.

A parent or guardian is required to be present throughout the duration of the class. Light refreshments will be served.

Project Alice was created at Carnegie Mellon University to easily teach basic programming concepts to young children in a fun way. More information of Project Alice can be found at
