HOFFMAN ESTATES POLICE YOUTH ACADEMY

Following the success of the Hoffman Estates Police Department’s Citizen’s Police Academy, the police agency will be offering a Youth Police Academy to young people between the ages of11 and 14, later this spring. On four successive Monday evenings, from April 7 through April 28 2003, Interested young people can learn more about their local police department. The classes will be held from 6-8 pm each evening and cover topics such as the Police K9 Unit, Peer Jury, Drugs, Gang Awareness and Police Explorers. Interested young people can call Sgt.
