**Additional Paving Information**
- Binder Course (1st Layer of Asphalt – reconstruction streets only) – Paving signs are placed at the ends of the street on the day prior to asphalt installation.  This layer does not require oil application prior to paving as paving occurs on the stone base.

- Level Binder Course (1st Layer of Asphalt – resurfacing streets only) – Fresh Oil Signs are placed at the ends of the street between 12-24 hours prior to oil application (signs are placed on Friday prior to a Monday morning oil application).  Oil is typically placed in the early morning hours and level binder pavement is placed later that day (all work is weather dependent).  Paving signs are also placed at the ends of the street on the day prior to any asphalt installation.  Any driving on your street after the “Fresh Oil” application will be AT YOUR OWN RISK.  If street access is necessary, driving at less than 10 mph is recommended.  The Village and contractor are NOT responsible for oil on your vehicle when the “Fresh Oil” signs are standing.  This material may track onto your driveway, and/or adhere to your vehicle.

- Surface Course (Final Layer of Asphalt – all streets) - Fresh Oil Signs are placed at the ends of the street between 12-24 hours prior to oil application.  Oil is typically placed in the early morning hours and final surface pavement is placed later that day (all work is weather dependent).  Paving signs are also placed at the ends of the street on the day prior to surface asphalt installation.
