**Additional Paving Information**
- Binder Course (1st Layer of Asphalt – reconstruction streets only) – Paving signs are placed at the ends of the street on the day prior to asphalt installation.  This layer does not require oil application prior to paving as paving occurs on the stone base.

- Level Binder Course (1st Layer of Asphalt – resurfacing streets only) – Fresh Oil Signs are placed at the ends of the street a minimum of 18-24 hours prior to oil application (signs are placed on Friday prior to a Monday morning oil application).  Oil is typically placed in the early morning hours and level binder pavement is placed later that day (all work is weather dependent).  Paving signs are also placed at the ends of the street on the day prior to any asphalt installation.

- Surface Course (Final Layer of Asphalt – all streets) - Fresh Oil Signs are placed at the ends of the street a minimum of 18-24 hours prior to oil application.  Oil is typically placed in the early morning hours and final surface pavement is placed later that day (all work is weather dependent).  Paving signs are also placed at the ends of the street on the day prior to surface asphalt installation.

Remember cell phone use is prohibited in construction work zones and as always, please proceed with caution while driving in work zones.
