Second Hand Soul Band to bring the funk on July 12
Get ready to dance as Second Hand Soul Band brings the best of the boogie to the Village Green on Thursday, July 12, at 7 p.m. The concert is part of the “Summer Sounds on the Green” concert series, sponsored by the Hoffman Estates Arts Commission and the Hoffman Estates Park District.
Second Hand Soul Band plays the songs you know and love from Marvin Gaye, James Brown, Aretha Franklin & more! Audiences all over Chicagoland love to dance and sing along as Second Hand Soul Band covers the biggest hits of the motown, soul and rock eras.
The Summer Sounds concert series continues through Thursday, August 2. All shows begin at 7 p.m. at the Virginia Mary Hayter Village Green, located at 5510 Prairie Stone Parkway, across the street from the Sears Centre Arena in the Poplar Creek at 59/90 “Entertainment District.”
Admission is free. Bring a blanket or a lawn chair to the amphitheater. Picnics are welcome!
Levy Restaurants will be on hand to sell a variety of traditional snack foods, while the Hoffman Estates Beer Garden will be open and offering traditional German fare. New for 2018, the Craft Canteen atop the hill overlooking Village Green will offer craft beer, food and more!
