Free country concert by Pamela Rose and Windy City Country
Line dancing is encouraged but not required! Pamela Rose and Windy City Country is a high energy band playing country favorites and current hits. With over 30 collective years of touring and recording experience, Pamela Rose and Windy City Country have performed with artists such as Richard Marx, Tanya Tucker, Ben E. King, Randy Travis, Three Dog Night, and Pam Tillis.
The Hoffman Estates Arts Commission and the Hoffman Estates Park District is pleased to present Pamela Rose and Windy City Country to the Virginia Mary Hayter Village Green. The band will perform on Thursday, July 14, at 7 p.m. as part of the “Summer Sounds on the Green” concert series.
All performances take place on Thursday evenings at 7 p.m. The Village Green is located at 5510 Prairie Stone Parkway across the street from the Sears Centre Arena off Route 72 in the Poplar Creek at 59/90 “Entertainment District.”
This concert is the fourth in a series of eight free admission summer shows. Bring a picnic along with a blanket or lawn chair, but please leave glasses and glass containers at home.
Levy Restaurants will be selling a variety of traditional snack food as well as unique items, changed each week to compliment the concert’s musical theme. A limited supply of 20th anniversary commemorative cups will be available for purchase; discounts on beverages filling the cups may be offered during the 2016 season.
